New Zealand writer and film-maker Caroline Fitzgerald will discuss her latest documentary, BLACK SAILS, at Napi’s Restaurant on July 10 at 7 pm. She will be joined by special guest Jan Ferguson of the Butler Point Whaling Museum in Mangonui, NZ.
BLACK SAILS explores the story of how two vastly different 19th Century cultures – the whalers of New England and the Maori of New Zealand – were drawn together in the hunt for the mighty whale.
