Please join us for another exciting installment of our Local Lens series, featuring 2 short documentary films by Wellfleet & Jamaica Plain-based filmmaker Marnie Samuelson Crawford. Marnie and her two subjects, artists Selina Trieff and MIke Wright, will be present to discuss their work after the screening.
In addition to her forays into filmmaking, Marnie Crawford Samuelson is a documentary photographer and a radio and multimedia producer. Her photographs are featured in The Wild Braid, a collaboration with poets Stanley Kunitz and Genine Lentine. She is also the photographer for Lasting Words, a Guide to Finding Meaning Toward the End of Life. Her work has been published in magazines, including People, Newsweek, and Smithsonian. Marnie directs and shoots short films.
