Preserving Water Quality on Cape Cod subject of talk by Ed DeWitt, Exec. Dir. Of the Association to Preserve Cape Cod.
The public is invited to Unitarian Universalist Meeting House in Chatham on Sunday, January 26, 2014, 2:00 pm to a “Learning for Life” presentation by Ed DeWitt, Executive Director of the Association to Preserve Cape Cod (APCC). He will speak on the APCC’s role as the region’s watchdog protecting the Cape’s environment, natural resources and quality of life. The talk will focus on water quality and wastewater management issues.

Mr. DeWitt directs the mission of APCC which includes: water protection, improved wastewater and stormwater management, natural resource protection, salt marsh restoration, zoning reform and agricultural lands protection. He is an attorney and former Coast Guard helicopter pilot and has been involved in coastal environmental issues for more than 30 years. Admission is free and donations welcome.
