Susan Fox Rogers is the inaugural featured writer for Appearances, the Green Arts. She is author of the memoir “My Reach: A Hudson Valley Memoir,” in which she explores, from the perspective of her kayak, the history and natural history of the Hudson River. She is also editor of several anthologies, including “Another Wilderness: Notes from the New Outdoorswoman.” At present, she is completing a book titled “Learning the Birds,” a memoir and about birding and environmental issues. She will read from her work at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown at 4 pm on Saturday, April 19. On Sunday, April 20, from 10 to 1, she will conduct a writing workshop for those interested in writing about place. Space is limited. These events are free and open to the public.
