Did you know that there’s a world of content available exclusively on the WOMR website? There are some incredibly talented writers in our midst and they have graciously volunteered to share their talents with us. Ira Wood, Jeannette de Beauvoir and Chef Rossi all have spoken word programs on our airwaves and all are accomplished authors as well.Rossi creates brilliant memoirs, Jeannette covers the arts beaton the outer cape, whileIra opines on the issues of the daywith humor and sensitivity.
Catch the latest from all of them on our blogs page.
Tickets are going fast for the gala premier of the feature film about our merry band of misfits and ne’er-do-wells. Don’t miss this chance to see how well we all clean up.
DJs and Contributors needed
WOMR and WFMR are inviting proposals for 3rd and 5th Wednesdays of the month for the bluegrass show. There are seasonal openings for jazz on alternate Sunday mornings from 9am to noon and every Tuesday from 5-8pm. Proposals should be one page or less and include information about your experience and what you would do with the airtime if granted. Send proposals to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you have a jalopy in need of junking? Has your hooptie met its end of days? Save yourself the trouble of figuring out how to dispose of that heap and donate it to WOMR and WFMR. Make a simple phone call and we’ll handle the rest. You can even write off the donation on your taxes. Everybody wins!
