Ira Wood, Jeannette de Beauvoir and Chef Rossi all have spoken word programs on our airwaves and all are accomplished authors as well.Rossi creates brilliant memoirs, Jeannette covers the arts beaton the outer cape, whileIra opines on the issues of the daywith humor and sensitivity.

WOMR and WFMR are inviting proposals for the following ongoing openings: Saturday nights from 9pm to midnight, 2nd Sundays of the month 6-9pm in the world music genre, 3rd and 5th Wednesdays of the month for the bluegrass show and 4th Sundays at noon once a month in any genre. Proposals should be one page or less and include information about your experience and what you would do with the airtime if granted. Send proposals to email@example.com.
Joe Gouveia Outermost Poetry Contest
In honor of the late poet, radio host and general man about town, WOMR is once again sponsoring the Poetry Contest. The deadline for submissions is December 15 and the entry fee is a measly $15. Top prize is $1000 and there’s a $200 prize for the best Cape Cod poet. Get the full details here.
