September 14 and 15, 2013
Preparations are in full swing for two full days of music and fun. There will be crafters, food, family activities and, of course, MUSIC!! We’ll be making a joyous noise from 12:30 to 8:30pm on Saturday and from 1 to 5pm on Sunday. All times are approximate, so you’ll want to come early and stay late.
The jester and the drummers get the rhythm started on Saturday, followed by some Cape Cod up-and-comers. We’ve got a couple of Boston party bands in the middle of the day creating a grand crescendo topped off by the outer Cape’s ultimate party band. Sunday features our friends from Vermont (and Provincetown) Sensible Shoes, as well as two bands from the Boston area racing each other to the Grammy. Adam Ezra plays conscious rock and has been tearing up the festival circuit throughout the Northeast. Debo Band plays an exciting mix of afro-beat, funk and eastern European sounds. You’ve got to hear it to believe it. Find out more about these bands through the links:
Stay tuned to WOMR to hear more from these local and regional artists.
