Being a DJ is something Bernie has wanted to do for as long as he could remember. But, like most of us, life got in the way. Now retired and living in Orleans he has joined WOMR/WFMR as a DJ and is having a blast. By way of background he has performed in numerous Boston area theatre productions including The Boston Children’s Theatre, Burlington Players, Theatre To Go, Wakefield Repertory, Winchester Players, Theatre Company of Saugus, Quannapowitt Players, Atlantis Playmakers and The Post Meridian Radio Players. He has many voiceover, narration, commercial, industrial, and film and TV credits. He has also recorded text books for blind and dyslexic children at RFB&D in Cambridge.
On his “Last Train Home” show Bernie plays a wide variety of Jazz music including West Coast, Smooth, Bop, Jazz Blues and whatever else catches his fancy. The show also features the fantastic Ladies of Jazz and there is always a tribute to Frank Sinatra somewhere during the evening. Tune in every other Tuesday night from 5:00PM to 8:00PM and catch a ride on “The Last Train Home”.
