The Brewster Ladies’ Library afternoon book discussion group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. to discuss a book chosen by the group. For our July and August meetings, we will be discussing The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky.
“It is a passionate philosophical novel set in 19th century Russia that enters deeply into the ethical debates of God, free will, and morality. It is a spiritual drama of moral struggles concerning faith, doubt, and reason, set against a modernizing Russia.” – Goodreads.
The August discussion will be held in the Library’s meeting room on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome to join the group or attend the event.
