Ethnobotany by Homer Virgil Pinkley

“Ethnobotany” is the study of a region’s plants and their practical uses through the traditional knowledge of a local culture and people.
Tuesday , June 4th at 6:30 pm at the Truro Public Library (refreshments served at 6) , the Friends of the Truro Library will host Botanist Homer Virgil Pinkley.
His presentation will cover the ethnobotany of the peoples of the Head Waters of the Amazon , discussing clothing, shelter,
poisons, medicines and the use of Ayahuasca
