The Great Music on Sundays @5 concert series presents the 21st season of 18 weekly concerts from June 9 through October 6 at the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House of Provincetown (236 Commercial Street, 508.487.9344)

The quartet specializes in medieval, Renaissance and world music and plays a variety of melodies from Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. Their repertoire includes lute songs, madrigals, canzonas, processionals, and a variety of dance pieces from pavanes and galliards to Turkish melodies and Latin-inspired tangos and waltzes. Ensemble Passacaglia transports the audience to another time and place as they bring ancient music forward with fresh interpretations and emphasis on cross-cultural connections.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Tickets are available in advance online at brownpapertickets.com or at the door. Admission is $20. Senior (65+) discounts are available at $15. Children ages 12 and under are admitted free.
Great Music on Sundays @5 is Provincetown’s longest-running concert series of music of our world. This concert series provides a unique musical and cultural niche. Since the 1999 season, more than 320 concerts presented by more than 100 performers have provided music without borders for thousands of concertgoers and lovers of great music.
The 2019 season includes classical, Broadway, international, piano, choral and organ music with more than 50 performers. The concerts are a potpourri of music from across the centuries and around the world. There is something for everyone at Great Music on Sundays @5.
All concerts are presented on Sundays at 5 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House of Provincetown, built in 1847 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, with one of the finest acoustic concert halls on Cape Cod. The sanctuary’s historic and rare trompe l’oeil walls and serene atmosphere provide the perfect setting for great music. Concerts feature the 1928 Steinway Model B concert grand piano and the historic 1850 Holbrook tracker organ.
John Thomas produces the concert series with the gracious help of many volunteers.
