Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish land in Plymouth for a show on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. at the Spire Center, 25 ½ Court St., Plymouth, MA. This Martha’s Vineyard and Boston band specializes in bluesy dance music for nightclubs, parties, functions, weddings, festivals and hoedowns of all kinds. Formed in 1991, the band has evolved through many incarnations, three Tone Cool and two self-produced CDs, trips around the world as far as South Africa and mostly the joys of playing a lot of music on Martha’s Vineyard where most of them live. The band started out as a four-piece with no piano, became a five-piece for several years, and then returned to a four-piece configuration, this time with no bass, and it’s been that way for over 10 years. With a great blues and roots sound, the band will have everyone up and dancing for a great night at the Spire. There is no opener for this show! Enjoy a full evening of Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish
Tickets are $20; advance purchase is recommended, seating is limited to capacity. The Spire is handicap accessible, public parking is available streetside, and in public lots near the venue.
