Solo Guitar of Peter Ciluzzi

June 8 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Peter Ciluzzi will perform in a solo concert at Provincetown Art Association & Museum, 460 Commercial St. Provincetown, MA on Saturday, June 8 at 7 PM. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at Eventbrite or at the door. Doors open at 6:30.

Guitarist Peter Ciluzzi’s music transports listeners through virtuosic, evocative compositions that tell a story without words. He was recently featured in Acoustic Guitar Magazine and his acclaimed solo instrumental work has accumulated millions of views on YouTube and more than 10 million plays on Spotify.

Ciluzzi is a recording artist on Candyrat Records, which represents more than thirty musicians from ten countries and features some of the finest solo guitar music from around the world. His works released on Candyrat include his debut album “Music Without Words”, and the 2016 follow-up album “Still Without Words”. With what has been called a ‘distinctive, timeless sound that is both familiar and unexpected,’ his music defies easy categorization and reflects a wide range of influences including jazz, classical, rock, and world music. He was a finalist in the Canadian Fingerstyle Guitar Competition and has toured and performed around the US solo and with artists such as Antoine Dufour, Calum Graham, and Gareth Pearson.

The broad nature of his musical interests also extends into guitar design and construction. Having studied guitarmaking with Charles Fox at The American School of Lutherie, he started Ciluzzi Guitars in a Provincetown, MA workshop in 2006. As a guitar maker, his work has been displayed at a number of exhibitions including the Montreal Guitar Show.

Most recently, Peter’s music was selected by WCAI Cape & Islands NPR station to be placed as fill music and can be heard broadcasting between radio programs every day throughout Southeastern Massachusetts.
