Cotuit Center for the Arts presents the Sons of Serendip Christmas Show on Thursday, December 19, at 7:30 PM
Sons of Serendip is a quartet of friends who, through a series of serendipitous events, came together in graduate school at Boston University and rocketed to popularity after a fourth place finish on NBC’s America’s Got Talent (season 9) and subsequently appeared on America’s Got Talent: The Champions. Sons of Serendip is a genre-bending quartet offering fresh interpretations of popular music and Christmas songs
AGT judges Howie Mandel and Howard Stern called Sons of Serendip the most musically talented act on the show, the New York Times called their Christmas album “silky beyond reason,” and Chicago Concert Reviews wrote that “their ingenious arrangements make pretty much anything they touch sound like an original.
