The Art Ensemble of Cape Cod: Jazz at Thacher Hall

Come enjoy Wayne Naus on piano, John DiSanto on drums and Rick Cain on bass performing jazz standards and original works.
The group has been together since 2012 and has performed at venues all around the Cape. They recently completed their first album, Once Upon a Time On Cape Cod, with original compositions such as “Moon Over Monomoy” and the “Sagamore Bridge Blues.”
Naus began his professional music career as a Navy musician, playing trumpet. He has toured and recorded worldwide with Buddy Rich, Lionel Hampton, Maynard Ferguson and Arturo Sandoval big bands, performing at Carnegie Hall and the Newport, Boston and Saratoga jazz festivals. He has appeared with Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra.
Cain was a band director at both high schools and colleges, retiring from Clark University in 2015. He has performed with numerous orchestras, big bands and jazz ensembles throughout Massachusetts and beyond.
DiSanto is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and has been a performance drummer for over 40 years. He has performed with Dick Johnson, Makoto Ozone, Moksha and the Drifters, and he currently is the drummer for The Rat Pack is Back, a Las Vegas national touring group.
