The 47 and final concert season of the Woods Hole Folk Music Society will continue on Sunday, March 24 with a performance by Scottish harper and composer William Jackson. The concert will take place at 7:30 PM in Community Hall, 68 Water Street, Woods Hole. Doors open at 7 PM. Admission is $20 with discounts for members, seniors, youth and children. Community Hall is handicapped accessible, and street parking is free after 6 PM.
The Internationally known harper and composer William Jackson has been at the forefront of Scottish traditional music for three decades. He is recognized as one of the leading harpers and multi- instrumentalists in Scotland, and has gained an international reputation as an innovative composer, combining traditional Celtic influences with classical instrumentation in several of his works.
