SUMMARY:The Hand That Holds The Line
DESCRIPTION:As part of our ongoing Stories On The Hill series\, our first Outdoor Movie Night of the 2026 season will feature The Hand That Holds the Line—a powerful film honoring the people who fish on Cape Cod and the generations of knowledge\, grit\, and care that sustain that way of life. True to the Stories On The Hill spirit\, the evening will begin with a thoughtful pre-film conversation featuring PMPM Executive Director Courtney Hurst\, who comes from a long line of boat captains and fishermen; the film’s producer Kim Roderiques; and several Cape Cod fishermen and fisherwomen whose lived experience brings this story to life. Set against the backdrop of Provincetown Harbor—where fishing has shaped both livelihood and identity for centuries—this promises to be a meaningful night of storytelling\, reflection\, and Community under the stars. PMPM Members will receive first access to tickets\, along with discounted pricing. More details will be shared as the season approaches. (And please note: A portion of the Ticket Sales will go to the Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance\, so this is a chance to support two nonprofits while having a great time.) \nThe Shallop Bar will be open before the conversation starts for cocktail and mocktails. \nPlease come up early to enjoy the view and have a drink before we begin.
