SUMMARY:A Christmas Carol
DESCRIPTION:Artistic Director David Drake stages this fresh and lively adaptation by the acclaimed playwright Doris Baizley that brings together a cast of 17 Cape Cod actors. \nSet during the Great Depression\, the show opens with a ragtag traveling theater troupe arriving in town to perform the Dickens’ classic\, only to discover that their Scrooge has jumped ship and Tiny Tim’s been fired for eating the props. Marshall\, Racine Oxtoby\, Denise Page\, Brett Parson\, Copper Santiago\, Laura Scribner\, and Paul J. Halley as Ebenezer Scrooge.

But the show must go on — so the troupe bands together\, recasts the roles\, and delivers Dickens’ yuletide tale of ghosts\, regrets\, redemption\, and generosity for its eager audience. \nIn a family-friendly production that includes live music\, clowning\, singing\, dancing\, and sets and props constantly being pulled from their traveling carts\, crates\, and suitcases\, the stellar cast of A Christmas Carol features Eric Auger\, Jennifer Cabral\, Connie Chan\, Andrew Clemons\, Sean Flyr\, Bob Junker\, Sabrina Kulka\, Ian Leahy\, Patrick Lenihan\, Thom Markee\, Bryant A. Marshall\, Racine Oxtoby\, Denise Page\, Brett Parson\, Copper Santiago\, Laura Scribner\, and Paul J. Halley as Ebenezer Scrooge.

SUMMARY:"How Do You Like Your Love?" By Racine Oxtoby
DESCRIPTION:A Free Playreading from the Truro Playwright Collective \nIn the early 1970s\, pornography films became mainstream with the “porno chic” phenomenon. In 1972\, one small-town cinema decides to screen the movie Deep Throat\, creating quite a stir for the townspeople\, as well as the cinema staff. “How Do You Like Your Love?” follows four employees of the Rialto Cinema – the projectionist\, the owner\, the box office manager\, and the new kid – on the night of Deep Throat’s premiere. They deal with flighty town bureaucracy\, aggressive protesters\, a full and rowdy audience\, and their own personal conflicts. Will the town reject this new craze as just a fad? Or will they ask for more\, more\, more?
