SUMMARY:Ruen Brothers
DESCRIPTION:With their dusky vocal harmonies and love of twangy ’50s rock\, England’s Ruen Brothers have a sound that harks back to a rock & roll past\, but with a modern urgency. Showcasing the talents of lead singer/rhythm guitarist Henry Stansall and singer/lead guitarist Rupert Stansall\, the Ruen Brothers (an amalgam of their first names) grew up playing Johnny Cash and Everly Brothers covers in local pubs. Over time\, they developed their distinctive sound\, balancing mid-century rock traditions with noir-ish lyrics and a style rife with a David Lynch-ian theatricality. Emerging in London in 2013 with their rockabilly-tinged single “Aces\,” the brothers caught the attention of Republic Records. From there\, they moved to the States\, where they recorded their debut album with legendary producer Rick Rubin.

SUMMARY:The Wolff Sisters + Maddi Ryan
DESCRIPTION:The Wolff Sistersare fronted by sisters – Rebecca on acoustic guitar\, Rachael on electric guitar\, and both on lead vocals and harmonies. Raised on the songs of The Band and Little Feat\, the sisters crafted their sound around a honky tonk piano in the living room of their childhood home. New England Music Awards Winner for Americana Artist of the Year 2021 and Boston Music Award winner for Americana Artist of the Year 2020\, the band’s electrifying live performance continues to gain momentum and recognition from their hometown of Boston and beyond. Their music is honest and genre defying\, but still rooted in traditional rock and Americana storytelling. The band is on tour promoting their fourth studio album ‘Dark River.’

The show opens on Thursday\, May 7 and continues for 3 weekends through May 24 on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 PM with Sunday matinee performances at 2:30PM. General admission tickets are $30 / $28 for seniors 65+ and students. Group sale discounts are available for parties of 10 or more. Tickets and more information are available online at www.barnstablecomedyclub.org or by calling the box office at 508-362-6333. \nUnder the direction of Alex Lucchesi\, the stellar cast includes Sandy Basile\, June Christine Farlin\, Charlie McDougal\, Glen Porter\, Frank Scanzillo and Lizzy Smythe. The stage manager is Sue Boberg. \nFrom the playwright that took CLUE from screen to stage\, THE COTTAGE is an outrageously roaring 20’s romp that will have you laughing from start to finish. Set in an English country cottage\, a woman decides to expose her latest affair to both her husband—and her lover’s wife. As secrets unravel and passions collide\, the meaning of love\, identity\, and marriage are all thrown into question\, and served in a way only the British can serve it: with tea. With shocking plot twists\, scandalous reveals\, and razor-sharp humor\, THE COTTAGE is a deliciously funny hit comedy where no one’s secrets are safe.

SUMMARY:An Afternoon with Joe Marchio – Organ\, Community & Giving Back
DESCRIPTION:Experience the artistry of Cape Symphony’s Assistant Conductor\, Joe Marchio\, as he takes the stage on the magnificent Casavant Frères pipe organ at the First Congregational Church of Chatham. Known for his warmth\, humor\, and insight as a speaker and conductor\, Joe now steps into the spotlight as a performer\, bringing the organ to life in an unforgettable concert. \nThe program will feature iconic organ masterworks including J.S. Bach’s thrilling “Toccata and Fugue in D Minor” and Charles Ives’ playful “Variations on America.” Joe will also be joined by special guest Sarah Marchio on bagpipes for the stirring audience favorite\, “Highland Cathedral\,” along with one additional selection to be announced. \nAbout the Organ\nThe organ at First Congregational Church is itself a star of the show. Built in 1972 by the renowned Casavant Frères Organ Company of Quebec\, the instrument was carefully designed to both support choral and congregational singing and to serve as a recital-quality organ for visiting artists. With 21 hand-selected stops\, it offers tonal diversity capable of bringing German Baroque masterpieces and French Romantic works vividly to life. \nIn 2007\, the organ was further modernized with a new electrified console\, expanding its versatility with couplers that allow for English choral accompaniment and Romantic-era repertoire. More than 40 years since its installation\, it remains a beloved and powerful instrument\, continuing a long tradition that stretches back to the congregation’s very first melodeon. \n✨ Why you’ll want to be there: \nHear Bach\, French masters\, and more come alive on one of Cape Cod’s most versatile instruments.\nExperience the talent of Joe Marchio\, not just as a conductor and educator\, but as a solo performer.\nSupport the Cape Symphony Orchestra\, Chatham Chorale\, and First Congregational Church of Chatham—a portion of every ticket goes directly to these cornerstones of our community.\n🎟️ Seating is limited—reserve your tickets now for a very special afternoon of live music\, community\, and celebration. \n👉 Child and student discounts available—contact rchwastiak@capesymphony.org for details.

SUMMARY:Anthony Gomes
DESCRIPTION:With a guitar slung over his shoulder and the amps turned up full tilt\, Anthony Gomes electrifies blues and rock at a 21st century crossroads of his own. The Canadian vocalist\, guitarist\, songwriter and producer wails with all the force of a hurricane in the Mississippi Delta and enough fret-burning fireworks to leave his strings in flames. Over the years\, he’s toppled the Billboard Blues Chart at #1\, earned the endorsement of legends such as B.B. King\, tallied tens of millions of streams\, and packed shows on multiple continents.

SUMMARY:THE COTTAGE
DESCRIPTION:The Barnstable Comedy Club proudly presents THE COTTAGE\, a comedy by Sandy Rustin. \n Under the direction of Alex Lucchesi\, the stellar cast includes Sandy Basile\, June Christine Farlin\, Charlie McDougal\, Glen Porter\, Frank Scanzillo and Lizzy Smythe. The stage manager is Sue Boberg. \n From the playwright that took CLUE from screen to stage\, THE COTTAGE is an outrageously roaring 20’s romp that will have you laughing from start to finish.
