DESCRIPTION:Brendan Princi has been sharing his soulful creative and imaginative melodies\, licks\, loops\, and vocals all over the cape and south shore since 2010.  His musical roots go back to his early days in the church choir and picked up his mom’s 1964 dread knot in his mid 20s. \nHis sets mix up genres of music and he bounces originals and choice covers.  His tones are silky smooth and he interprets songs distinctly\, putting his stamp on songs. \nHis first release “Some Sunny Songs from the Salty Side” is a testimony to his singer song writer roots. His rhythm patterns are infectious\, creating a flow to his music. \nHis recent EP “Epitaph” bounces genres and gets the toes tapping.  His new release “Caught in the Current” is sure to give you the “feels”.  It is lyrically some of his best work. \nHis voice is described as “someone who sounds like he smokes a lot of cigarettes and drinks whisky but soothing like it could lull a baby to sleep”.  He has played several stages including Cotuit Center for Arts\, Levitate Backyard\, HOB Foundation room\,  and The Music Room.
