SUMMARY:"How Do You Like Your Love?" By Racine Oxtoby
DESCRIPTION:A Free Playreading from the Truro Playwright Collective \nIn the early 1970s\, pornography films became mainstream with the “porno chic” phenomenon. In 1972\, one small-town cinema decides to screen the movie Deep Throat\, creating quite a stir for the townspeople\, as well as the cinema staff. “How Do You Like Your Love?” follows four employees of the Rialto Cinema – the projectionist\, the owner\, the box office manager\, and the new kid – on the night of Deep Throat’s premiere. They deal with flighty town bureaucracy\, aggressive protesters\, a full and rowdy audience\, and their own personal conflicts. Will the town reject this new craze as just a fad? Or will they ask for more\, more\, more?
