New DJs, New Shows

People come and go all the time around here. Others have been on the air for years and will be for many years to come. Perhaps you’ve already heard some of these new voices.

Ray wiggs WOMRRay Wiggs brings his perspective as a working artist and gallery curator to bear as he invites fine artists to talk about their work twice a month on Mondays at 12:30. From The Artist’s Perspective makes an excellent slot-mate with Chris Busa’s Art Talk which airs once a month at the same time.

Ashley Stancil’s Slack Tide Sounds alternates with the Psychedelic Oyster on Monday nights from 9 to 11. Ashley sports a fresh mix of indie rock and electronic flavors, with a distinct influence of the surf and sea.

Steve Shervanian celebrates the music of the big band era on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month from 9 to noon. Swing and sway and jump and jive with Benny, Artie and the Duke.

Tom Conklin combines lively music with timely talk on What It Is, alternate Sundays from 1-4pm. Tom’s got the inside track to some of Provincetown’s most influential movers and shakers as well as voices from WOMR’s past. Join Clarence, Marcene, Tara and a rotating cast of guests to find out What It Is.
