Swing your partner\, dosido your friends and neighbors\, and let the music guide your feet!\nEastham caller Pat Nash will be calling a variety of contra dances and mixers. Each dance will be taught with a thorough walk-through before the live music starts\, with special emphasis on getting beginners up and dancing!\nPat will be calling to the music of the accomplished and energetic old-time and Celtic musicians\, fiddler Stuart Moore from Maine and Chatham\, and Harwich guitarist Amy Corrigan.\nContra dancing is the true traditional New England dance\, brought here by the Irish\, English and Scottish settlers. All the dances are taught and called. Come on out to Outermost Contra Dance for some great music\, dancing\, and friendly folks.\nOur caller this month is special guest Erica Weiss\, experienced dance teacher\, musician\, dancer\, recording artist and more. Erica will lead us through each dance with the expertise she is known for.\nLive music will be provided by Eastham’s own Billy Hardy on fiddle and Pat Nash on guitar with special guest Kaeza Fearn sitting in on piano.  Billy is well known for his expertise in playing fiddle music for over thirty years in the pubs and on the concert stages in the styles of Bluegrass\, Irish\, Scottish\, Country Swing and Rock & Roll.  Pat Nash will accompany him on rhythm guitar with Kaeza Fearn adding her piano styling to some reels and waltzes.\nContra dancing is the older cousin to the square dance. No fancy footwork needed – if you can walk\, you can dance!  All the dances are taught and called.
