DESCRIPTION:Brendan Princi has been sharing his soulful creative and imaginative melodies\, licks\, loops\, and vocals all over the cape and south shore since 2010.  His musical roots go back to his early days in the church choir and picked up his mom’s 1964 dread knot in his mid 20s. \nHis sets mix up genres of music and he bounces originals and choice covers.  His tones are silky smooth and he interprets songs distinctly\, putting his stamp on songs. \nHis first release “Some Sunny Songs from the Salty Side” is a testimony to his singer song writer roots. His rhythm patterns are infectious\, creating a flow to his music. \nHis recent EP “Epitaph” bounces genres and gets the toes tapping.  His new release “Caught in the Current” is sure to give you the “feels”.  It is lyrically some of his best work. \nHis voice is described as “someone who sounds like he smokes a lot of cigarettes and drinks whisky but soothing like it could lull a baby to sleep”.  He has played several stages including Cotuit Center for Arts\, Levitate Backyard\, HOB Foundation room\,  and The Music Room. DESCRIPTION:Outside Straight Lines II: A Celebration of LGBTQ+ Artists\nis a community art exhibit held at Cotuit Center for the Arts during Pride month aimed toward giving voice to LGBTQ+ arts across Cape Cod. Artists such as Joerg Dressler\, Beth Faherty\, Fran O’Neill\, and Paul Rizzo\, among many other skilled creatives\, will\nshowcase their work at Cotuit Center for the Arts from May 23 to June 21\, 2026\, with an opening reception on May 30\, 2026 from 3pm to 5pm. \nThe Outside\nStraight Lines biennial exhibit arose out of concern that much of LGBTQ+ art across the Cape has been unintentionally segregated to Provincetown\, often forcing those showing their work outside of this Queer Mecca into self-censorship throughout other venues\nof the Cape. In a time of book banning of LGBTQ+ literature\, erasures of crosswalks\, and blatant attacks on trans rights\, this showcase has acted as an affirmation of collective LGBTQ+ expression. With support from the Mid-Cape Cultural Council\, GSAs across\nCape high schools have been invited to view the exhibit.  \nAccording\nto curator David Cravenho\, “I am impressed by our LGBTQ+ Community for its strength and resilience. Growing up queer as a child and navigating life through the lens of a straight world is quite the feat.” This exhibit not only hosts 13 Queer artists in a single\nspace but also celebrates the vast diversity of our Queer Cape Cod community–from the expressionist figure to the realistic Cape Cod landscape. Join us on Friday\, February 27 at 7:30 PM\, as Bruce Marshall and his talented bandmates bring their electrifying energy and decades of musical mastery to our stage for an annual winter celebration of the blues. \nBruce Marshall’s music career spans an impressive five decades. The singer\, songwriter\, and guitarist has dedicated his life to music\, establishing himself as a full-time musician and a staple in the blues and rock scenes. Marshall’s journey began in the gin mills of New England\, where he quickly gained recognition for his unique sound that blends blues\, rock\, and 60’s pop. \nIn 1989\, Marshall joined forces with guitarist Toy Caldwell\, touring nationally with iconic acts like Charlie Daniels and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Since forming the Bruce Marshall Group in 1991\, he has continued to captivate audiences\, representing New England at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in 2008 and winning the regional solo category in 2010. An ASCAP Songwriter award recipient in 1991\, Marshall’s latest album\, Borrowed Time\, was released in 2018 to critical acclaim.

Join us on Saturday\, February 8\, at 7:30 PM\, as Bruce Marshall and his talented bandmates bring their electrifying energy and decades of musical mastery to our stage for an annual winter celebration of the blues. \nBruce Marshall’s music career spans an impressive five decades. The singer\, songwriter\, and guitarist has dedicated his life to music\, establishing himself as a full-time musician and a staple in the blues and rock scenes. Marshall’s journey began in the gin mills of New England\, where he quickly gained recognition for his unique sound that blends blues\, rock\, and 60’s pop. \nIn 1989\, Marshall joined forces with guitarist Toy Caldwell\, touring nationally with iconic acts like Charlie Daniels and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Since forming the Bruce Marshall Group in 1991\, he has continued to captivate audiences\, representing New England at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in 2008 and winning the regional solo category in 2010. An ASCAP Songwriter award recipient in 1991\, Marshall’s latest album\, Borrowed Time\, was released in 2018 to critical acclaim. \nPerforming over 200 shows annually\, Bruce Marshall’s passion for music and live performance shines through every note. This concert promises to be a night to remember\, filled with soulful melodies\, masterful guitar work\, and a deep connection to the roots of blues music.
