They hail from  \nCalifornia (10)\, Colorado (1)\, Connecticut (1)\, Massachusetts (5)\, Maryland (2)\, New Hampshire (4)\, New Jersey (1)\, New York (1)\, Rhode Island (3)\, Wisconsin (2). \nNow in its 37th year\, Circus Smirkus is only traveling ‘tented’ youth circus in the United States and is one of the most beloved arts events of the New England summer. Performing under traditional European-style circus tents\, patrons experience the authentic and historic flair of the iconic circus in a Big Top where there’s not a bad seat in the house. (Note: there are no animal acts in these performances.) \nThis year’s tour continues the tradition of Smirkus’ annual theme- based shows with the 2024 theme: The Imaginarium. The show will feature a vast array of circus arts — including aerials\, acrobatics\, juggling\, and clowning — a dazzling display of brilliant costumes\, and many other surprises. Step into a world of whimsy and wonder\, as Circus Smirkus celebrates playfulness\, discovery\, and childlike curiosity in a magical toy shop that comes to life.
