SUMMARY:Plein Air Paint Off
DESCRIPTION:The event is free for artists and for the public to observe. Artists are asked to bring their own easels\, canvas/boards\, paints\, palette knives and brushes. Refreshments will be served. \nThis first annual “Paint Off” is being planned to celebrate the opening of The Cape School of Art’s new Studio+Gallery on the second floor of Whaler’s Wharf. The studio space will be used for talks on local art history\, painting classes\, and exhibitions of works by Cape School instructors and those who have studied with the school. \nThe Cape School runs week-long painting workshops\, from April through October\, drawing students from the Outer Cape\, across the country\, and abroad.
