Join the Brewster Ponds Coalition at our Annual Meeting

Don’t miss this important Brewster Ponds Coalition annual event! Our annual meeting will be held on Saturday, August 15, from 8:30 – 11 AM. Following check-in and breakfast, there will be a short business meeting reviewing the past year’s events and our award presentations.
The focus of the meeting will be a review of the Town of Brewster’s recently completed update of its Integrated Water Resource Management Plan (IWRMP) and Pond Management Plan (PMP). The BPC has advocated for and participated in the development of these plans, which have been in development for the last year. Collectively, they set out how Brewster will manage its water resources going forward, and establish priorities for detailed pond studies. Mark Nelson, Senior Hydrologist and Environmental Consultant with the Horsley Witten Group, will present the IWRMP. The PMP will be presented by Kimberley Pearson, Chair of the Natural Resources Advisory Commission and a member of the Brewster Board of Health.
The BPC Annual Meeting will be held at the Cape Cod Bible Alliance Church, 3600 Main Street, Brewster, and is free for BPC members; be sure to reserve your spot.
