Outermost Contra Dance welcomes back a Cape Cod favorite caller, John Alden. John will be calling dances to the live music of dynamic and versatile contra dance duo, Amy and Johnathan Larkin
Contra dancing is the true traditional New England dance, brought here by the Irish, English and Scottish settlers. No fancy footwork needed – if you can walk, you can dance! All the dances are taught and called.
The contra dance is family friendly and welcomes dancers of all levels. If you are new to contra or just want to polish your skills, be sure to come to the Contra Skills walk-through at 6:30.
No need to bring a partner; there are plenty of friendly people in this welcoming dance community.
Admission is $15, $10 for those under 30, $5 with student ID!
