Spend Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend with The Last Butch Standing. Outermost Community Radio is proud to present Lea DeLaria at Provincetown Town Hall on May 24 at 8pm. Lea’s singing evokes every ultra-cool, late-night jazz bar anyone has ever imagined while her observational humor is utterly fearless in skewering everyday life as she sees it. Some folks may just be getting to know Lea from her work on Orange Is The New Black, but fans new and old alike are in for a real treat of comedy and jazz as Lea fronts her band on the big stage.
New volunteers are always welcome to begin the training process. No experience necessary. The Program Committee is now accepting proposals from trained volunteers to fill the following openings: the 3rd Sunday of each month from 9 to midnight, and the 3rd Saturdays of each month from 9 to midnight. The station also welcomes proposals from people who would like to produce a 30 minute spoken word program on local issues. Send your proposals to Matty or contact matty@womr.org with any questions or to set up an orientation interview.
