We have arrived in the future. Your favorite little old radio station now has its very own time machine. Through the magic of the internet, you can now listen to (almost) any show that has aired in the last two weeks whenever you want. Go to our page at Radio Free America, and look for “Station Archive.” Click around the calendar, and listen to your favorite DJ when it suits you. No longer do you have to plan your listening according to that imperious clock on the wall. This may be the biggest leap forward since we got rid of Roman numerals.
New volunteers are always welcome to begin the training process. No experience necessary. The Program Committee is now accepting proposals from trained volunteers to fill the 4th Saturdays of each month from 9 to midnight. The station also welcomes proposals from people who would like to produce a 30 minute spoken word program on local issues. Send your proposals to Matty or contact matty@womr.org with any questions or to set up an orientation interview.
