Donna The Buffalo

Donna The Buffalo is not just a band, rather one might say that Donna The Buffalo has become a lifestyle for its members and audiences. They’re returning to The Spire Center on September 25, after playing the Spire’s 10th Anniversary Concert in 2024. At the heart of Donna the Buffalo are co-founders Jeb Puryear and Tara Nevins, whose distinct songwriting voices have guided the band for over 30 years. Jeb Puryear (guitar/vocals) is known for his signature electric guitar style and socially conscious lyrics, bringing a rootsy, jam-friendly energy to the group’s sound. Tara Nevins (fiddle/guitar/accordion/vocals) is a multi-instrumentalist with a background in old-time music, She provides the band’s soulful melodies and Americana grit. Together, their vocal harmonies and songwriting chemistry have produced a massive catalog of songs that blend reggae, rock, country, and zydeco into a singular, cohesive style.
