Jamaican Independence Day Party

Join us on August 6 2024 to celebrate Jamaica’s 62nd Independence Anniversary with live performances, live DJs, tasty foods and games for kids and adults.

On August 6, 1962, Jamaica gained independence from Britain. Every year in Jamaica, We celebrate with a huge Grand Gala at our national stadium. There is a large population of Jamaicans on the Cape and most of us are unable to celebrate. Irie Eats along with Kevin Hume decided to have their own celebration here in Provincetown for all the Jamaicans and to share our culture with our neighbors here on Cape Cod. It is free to the public and all are welcome. With performances by Cendo and music by DJ Jagga, DJ Kenny, and DJ Arrow. There will be a variety of Jamaican food, snacks, and drinks will be on sale.
