Americana singer-songwriter Monica Rizzio, who plays The Spire Center Lobby Series on June 18, brings a perspective equally influenced by her Texas roots and her Cape Cod home to her music. After spending a decade in the trio Tripping Lily, Monica released her critically acclaimed debut solo album, Washashore Cowgirl, in 2016 and has since been known as one of the finest talents in the East Coast music scene. In 2019 she recorded her second album, Sunshine is Free in Nashville with producer Michael Rinne and a stacked lineup of guest musicians including Mindy Smith, Maya de Vitry, Gwen Sebastian, Joe Pisapia, Will Kimbrough, and Eamon McLoughlin.
