Songwriter Cole Porter composed 100’s of songs during the early part of the 20th century. He was sophisticated, elegant, charming and naughty. Songs titles include; Night and Day, In the Still of the Night, Begin the Beguine and, Anything Goes.

Unlike many of his songwriting pals, Cole composed both the melodies & the lyrics with equal skill & style.

John Murelle, singer, performer & historian will enlighten & entertain you with the songs & the stories of Cole Porter with the support of pianist, Chris Morris.

His previous popular programs have included; “I Got Rhythm” the fascinating songs & stories of the Gershwin Brothers, “Blue Skies” Irving Berlin, the man & his music & “Too Marvelous for Words” the songs of Johnny Mercer.
