Outer Frequencies presents Noun, Modern Hut and Grasshopper Green

OUTER FREQUENCIES, a not-for-profit arts initiative dedicated to connecting Cape Cod audiences with independent artists and musicians, proudly announces its next event, Friday, October 25th at 6:30 pm at Christ Church Episcopal in Harwich Port. An all-ages concert featuring local and touring bands, this third event in a developing series continues the group’s vision of community connection and growth via the arts.
The concert will feature an eclectic lineup of three indie acts:
Noun: A Philadelphia-based duo led by Marissa Paternoster, formerly of the New Jersey punk band Screaming Females. Paternoster was named one of the 500 best guitarists of all time by Rolling Stone.
Grasshopper Green: This Falmouth-based indie rock band was originally active from 1997-2000 before reforming in 2017 to continue purveying catchy, upbeat pop with an edge.
Modern Hut: The musical vehicle for Joe Steinhardt, owner and operator of the esteemed record label Don Giovanni Records, Modern Hut was called “sparse, straightforward anti-folk” by Pitchfork.
Admission to the concert is $15 cash or Venmo, at the door only. Doors open at 6:30 pm with performances starting at 7 pm. The show is open to all ages in a drug and alcohol-free environment. Christ Church Episcopal is located at 671 MA-28, Harwich Port.
OUTER FREQUENCIES is committed to supporting the community by featuring a local non-profit at each public event. On October 25th, Community Connections Yarmouth will receive a portion of event proceeds to aid in providing assistance and services to Cape Cod adults with disabilities.
