Experienced Rhode Island caller Paul Wilde will be calling a variety of contra dances, ceilidh dances and mixers. Each dance will be taught with a thorough walk-through before the live music starts, with the intent of making all beginners feel comfortable.
Paul will be calling to the music of the Celtic duo, Billy and Beth on fiddle and piano, playing music from the Scottish, Irish, French Canadian, Bluegrass, and Appalachian fiddle traditions.
Along with the fun and easy dancing, Lianna Montgomery will be demonstrating her Irish Dance expertise during the break.
To celebrate the luck of the Irish, there will be a raffle for a beautiful vintage hand-screened Irish Blessing. If you bring a friend who’s new to contra dancing, you both will get a free raffle ticket!

No need to bring a partner; there are plenty of friendly people in this welcoming dance community.
Admission is $15, $10 for those under 30, $5 with student ID. Cash bar available.
