The “Songbirds” of Cape Cod

April 6 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

The “Songbirds” of Cape Cod is an all-female quartet of recording artists, singer-songwriters, and musicians. As seasoned performers on their own, this talented group of women perform together in a Nashville “in-the-round” style, sharing songs and stories of the meaning behind the songs. This will be a special concert of original music and cover songs with their own unique interpretations…. all sprinkled with multi-part harmonies.

Caroline Brennan: Vocals, Guitar, and Guilele

Caroline (Henry) Brennan is an award-winning singer/songwriter from Massachusetts. In 2014, after buying a new guilele, she started writing songs again, and they began flowing from her. From life experiences she’s had and those she has seen her family and friends go through, her songs string together the relatable themes of love, heartache, and hope, while her music, with its soulful melodies, has a unique blend of country, rootsy folk, and island-flavored acoustic pop.

Catie Flynn: Vocals and Guitar

Catie Flynn is a singer-songwriter born and raised on Cape Cod. She attended Berklee College of Music in Boston where she studied vocal performance and music business. Upon graduating from Berklee, Catie moved to Nashville, Tennessee. While in Nashville she toured with an Americana group and spent countless hours refining her songwriting skills. Now back on the Cape, Catie can be seen playing locally and around the Northeast region. Catie also teaches private lessons in Chatham, MA.

Kathleen Healy: Vocals and Guitar

Kathleen Healy is a hard-working musician & songwriter living on Cape Cod. She draws from her experience of living and raising a family near the beach for many of her songs. Some say saltwater runs through her veins. Kathleen writes from the heart and her honest lyrics and often poignant subject matter lend themselves to the unique quality of her voice. She admits to being a live music junkie but is currently not seeking treatment for her addiction.

Kathi Taylor: Vocals and Drums

Kathi’s music career began in Los Angeles in the 1980s. She played drums with several local rock bands before joining up with The Mustangs, an all-girl, country rock group with strong songwriters and a big vocal sound. The band was together for several years, performing regularly on the L.A. country roots scene, including frequent appearances at the legendary Palomino club. They showcased with the top acts at the time including Lucinda Williams, Jim Lauderdale, Jeffrey Steele, and Rosie Flores.
