We discovered Walter Parks & The Unlawful Assembly at a small club in New York City last year and knew immediately our patrons needed to experience them. He and his band blew the top off our tent July last year! Now we’re bringing him back… yes, the BEST of 2025 to Wellfleet Preservation Hall. And with one of our all-time favorites, Vance Gilbert, as Special Guest, you can bet you’ll be talking about from Thanksgiving into the New Year!

The Unlawful Assembly reimagines spirituals, gospel, blues, and Appalachian roots music into one genre-defying set, led by Walter Parks, longtime sideman to Richie Havens, alongside vocalist Ada Dyer (touring worldwide with Bruce Springsteen), drummer/producer Steven Williams, and trombonist Andrae Murchison.
