The future of radio is rapidly becoming reality, but it isn’t without its rough spots. Would you know it was us if it were completely smooth sailing all the time? With the advent of the new website, we built a better streamer. You can grab that from the links at the top of the home page. Just click on the listen online button at the top left, or click on the listen tab in the top navigation bar for more detail.
As of yesterday, our old stream machine shuffled off this mortal coil. That means it doesn’t work anymore. If you were using an old bookmark, you need to grab the link for the new address and you’ll be riding high again. As we make the transition, service through mobile apps such as TuneIn radio and Public Radio Tuner from PRX will be interrupted. We are working with these companies to get back up and running, but it may take a couple of days. Thank you for your patience. Please know that we are aware of the situation and we are working to be better than ever.
New volunteers are always welcome to begin the training process. No experience necessary. Contact Matty matty@womr.org with any questions or to set up an orientation interview. The Program Committee is looking for a listener who is not a broadcaster to join the committee. Contact Executive Director John Braden for more information if you or someone you know might be interested.
