New Faces, New Voices

Community radio continues to thrive thanks to the great energy that our volunteers bring to the microphone. There’s new energy in the pipeline in the form of two shows that help secure our connection to the community that we love. Provincetown Town Manager David Panagore hosts Town Talk on the first Friday of each month at 9am. The show will deal with all things Provincetown and invites callers to contribute their questions and thoughts live on the air.

The Dune Tramp

On the third Friday of each month in the same time slot, The Dune Tramp will share his love for the people, culture and natural environment of the outer Cape as he chats with his guests. We’ll continue to enjoy selections from the Joyce Johnson archive of Sands of Time on the 2nd and 4th Fridays at 9am. As always, you can view the whole schedule of programs here.

Be A DJ

The program committee is seeking proposals from trained volunteers to fill Thursdays from 9pm to midnight. New volunteers are welcome to begin the training process to get qualified to fill in as substitutes. Contact matty@womr.org with any questions or to set up an orientation interview.

Donate your old records to WOMR or add to your collection with something from our online record store. Call the office or email Matty to arrange donation of your collection. We’ll even come pick them up if necessary.
