A veteran of Community Radio off Cape and on, Steve holds the reins of the only Big Band Swing music show on Cape Cod. Steve has made this show a must listen via the music and historical information he gives listeners. If it has horns and plenty of them and it swings then Steve plays it. If it’s from the great swing era of Goodman, Miller, Shaw and Ellington then he’ll play it. Instrumental or vocal it doesn’t matter!!!! You’ll hear Big Band music by folks you’ve never heard of as well as the old chestnuts from the greats, all from an era your parents can tell you about, or one you remember yourself!!!!
The “Cape Cod Big Band Show” airs on the second and fourth Sunday mornings from 9-12pm.
We welcome everyone who would like to be a DJ. Volunteers can get trained regardless of experience or current openings on the broadcast schedule. Contact email@example.com or call the office for more information.
