Rock Around the Doc
A new documentary series featuring exciting and eclectic films about music. Hear the stories behind our favorite songs, discover lesser known talents, and explore different genres  – all through the eyes and ears of cinema’s most visionary filmmakers. This series is brought to the Outer Cape community via a collaborative effort between two of Provincetown’s longest running arts organizations, WOMR and the Provincetown Film Society. The series will run bi-monthly, with upcoming dates and titles TBA.

Featuring revealing interviews with all the main players and an unseen archive released for the first time, THE STONES AND BRIAN JONES explores the creative musical genius of Jones, the key to the success of the band, and uncovers how the founder of what became the greatest rock’n’roll band in the world was left behind in the shadows of history. Directed by Nick Broomfield (Monster In A Box, Aileen Wurnos, Kurt & Courtney), prolific award-winning documentarian known for his unique and unconventional approach.
