Did you know that there’s a world of content available exclusively on the WOMR website? There are some incredibly talented writers in our midst and they have graciously volunteered to share their talents with us. Ira Wood, Jeannette de Beauvoir and Chef Rossi all have spoken word programs on our airwaves and all are accomplished authors as well.Rossi creates brilliant memoirs, Jeannette covers the arts beaton the outer cape, whileIra opines on the issues of the daywith humor and sensitivity.
Catch the latest from all of them on our blogs page.
New volunteers are always welcome to begin the training process. No experience necessary. The Program Committee is now accepting proposals from trained volunteers to fill the following openings: the 3rd Sunday of each month from 9 to midnight, and the 3rd Saturdays of each month from 9 to midnight. The station also welcomes proposals from people who would like to produce a 30 minute spoken word program on local issues. Send your proposals to Matty or contact matty@womr.org with any questions or to set up an orientation interview.
