Posted: August 23rd 2018 @11:08 AMChef Rossi has been sharing her life stories with listeners of Bite This! on WOMR for years, spinning tales of life, love, food, religion and sexuality. Tickets are available at WHAT.org.
Based on “The Raging Skillet: The True Life Adventures of Chef Rossi, A Memoir with Recipes,” Raging Skillet is directed by Sasha Brätt, with Shanel Sparr as Chef Rossi, Kathryn Kates as her mom, and Michael Patrick Trimm as DJ Skillit. Written by Hans Christian Andersen and adapted by James P. Byrne with music by Jane Staab, about two weavers who promise an emperor a new suit of clothes that they say is invisible to those who are unfit for their positions, stupid, or incompetent – while in reality, they make no clothes at all, making everyone believe the clothes are invisible to them. When the emperor parades before his subjects in his new “clothes”, no one dares to say that they do not see any suit of clothes on him for fear that they will be seen as stupid. Finally, a child cries out, “But he isn’t wearing anything at all!”At Harbor Stage through September 2

Out Of Service
Posted: July 6th 2018 @12:36 PM
Equipment failure at our transmitter in Orleans has taken 91.3 off the air for the time being. We are working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible, but it may be some time before service is restored. 92.1 continues to broadcast at full power and the stream remains available through the website and via the TuneIn app. Thank you for your patience.
