Phil Hailer

Mixed Bag

Every other Friday 6-9am

Phil describes himself as a musical maven in motion who pays homage to the past while staying in tune with the latest fads and trends in popular music on his Mixed Bag program every other Friday morning from 6 to 9 a.m. From Memphis Minnie to Elvis to Tiny Tim to Wet Leg and a whole lot of other stuff in between from the 1920s to the 2020s, it’s all in play on any given show at any given time. Phil maintains that it’s all connected one way or another, and he shows how and why on his Mixed Bag program. Listeners are encouraged to reach out to him at mixedbag@womr.org with comments or requests.
