Beth has a history with WOMR reaching back to its earliest days. Born and raised on Cape Cod, she was the first and most enthusiastic fan of her father Jim Mulligan’s long-running show Mulligan Stew, sitting in during pledge drives and lending her voice to recorded PSAs. She worked part-time in high school and college at local commercial radio stations WCOD, WQRC, WFXR, and WHMP, and hosted folk, jazz, and new wave shows as a DJ at Mount Holyoke College (WMHC). Now she co-hosts Outer Cape News every Friday afternoon, reporting on the big stories our beloved small towns care most deeply about.

The program committee is seeking proposals from trained volunteers to fill Thursdays from 9pm to midnight. New volunteers are welcome to begin the training process to get qualified to fill in as substitutes. Contact matty@womr.org with any questions or to set up an orientation interview.
