Denya LeVine has been in love with radio since she was a small child.
She has never owned a TV. A traditional fiddler and singer, her specialties are playing multi-cultural folk music and entertaining at nursing homes. She’s been a WOMR DJ since 1985. Her programs feature Celtic women’s voices and the blending of Celtic and world music. Denya is honored to be a member of the WOMR family. Denya is one of four alternating hosts of The Fiddle and The Harp on Monday nights from 5 to 8 PM.
New volunteers are always welcome to begin the training process. No experience necessary. Contact Matty matty@womr.org with any questions or to set up an orientation interview. The Program Committee is looking for a listener who is not a broadcaster to join the committee. Contact Executive Director John Braden for more information if you or someone you know might be interested.
