Lisa Collins

Bradford Street Bluegrass
3rd and 5th Wednesdays 5-8pm

Lisa Collins, one of the three regular hosts for the Bradford Street Bluegrass show, washed ashore on the Cape in October of 2024 to be closer to her family and to hold on to the family home. Once upon a time, she was a classically trained oboe player living in the mid-Atlantic area, where bluegrass music runs deep. Always a lover of acoustic music, she eventually heeded the siren call, bought a Martin guitar and went from playing in a symphony to jamming at picking parties.
Lisa has always enjoyed sharing her love for music with anyone who would pay attention and is known to stop dead in her tracks when she hears something that catches her ear. She will frequently pester her family and friends with… “Hey, you have GOT to hear this song!” Hosting the bluegrass show has given Lisa the outlet to share her passion, frequently stopping to comment on what makes a particular song so perfect. Her show spans a wide variety of tunes from Tony Rice, Dale Ann Bradley, Infamous Stringdusters, Steve Martin, Della Mae, Alison Brown, Billy Strings and so many more.

Lisa can be heard the third Wednesday of the month from 5:00 to 8:00, and if there happens to be a fifth Wednesday in the month, that night too!
