For more than 20 years Matty has been spinning the best soul, funk, and rare grooves. Whether you’re on vacation or getting through the work day, you can make it better with rhythm. Don’t miss the train.
In addition to getting your weekend started right on Thursday afternoons, you can hear more of the record collection as time allows and the schedule dictates.
Matty joined the station in 2002. After having served in number of different positions over the years from overnight DJ to member of the Board of Directors, Matty has found his calling as the Operations Manager of Outermost Community Radio.
New volunteers are always welcome to begin the training process. No experience necessary. The Program Committee is now accepting proposals from trained volunteers to fill the following openings: the 3rd Sunday of each month from 9 to midnight, and the 3rd Saturdays of each month from 9 to midnight. The station also welcomes proposals from people who would like to produce a 30 minute spoken word program on local issues. Send your proposals to Matty or contact matty@womr.org with any questions or to set up an orientation interview.
