Ryan Cooke

Ryan Cooke has been a DJ on WOMR since May 2014 and now hosts Reel Music on the 1st and 3rd Saturday nights of each month from 9pm to midnight. Ryan also presents his Mix Tape on alternate Friday mornings from 6-9am. Ryan started his DJ career on WSHL 91.3 FM when a student at Stonehill College, in Easton, MA, where he was hosting anywhere from 1 to 4 radio shows at a time.

Reel Music celebrates the music from Films; scores, and plain old good music that makes you remember times you saw the films being played, or discover new music that you haven’t heard before. Anything from Silent film music to current films.

Be A DJ

New volunteers are always welcome to begin the training process. No experience necessary. The Program Committee is now accepting proposals from trained volunteers to fill the following openings: the 3rd Sunday of each month from 9 to midnight, and the 3rd Saturdays of each month from 9 to midnight. The station also welcomes proposals from people who would like to produce a 30 minute spoken word program on local issues. Send your proposals to Matty or contact matty@womr.org with any questions or to set up an orientation interview.

Get In the Groove

Donate your old records to WOMR or add to your collection with something from our online record store. Call the office or email Matty to arrange donation of your collection. We’ll even come pick them up if necessary.
